Christmas Change Freeze

In recognition of reduced staffing levels across the industry over the Christmas period, Server Centre will be conducting a network and provisioning change freeze from 21st December through to Wednesday 4th January 2012. Throughout this period, no non-essential changes will be made to the network or the services we provide. Please ensure any change requests are made before Wednesday 21st December to ensure they can be completed on time. Some exceptions will be permitted where prior agreement has been made (between the customer, the account manager and technical teams prior to 21st December).

Server Centre will, of course, be available 24/7 over the Christmas period for any emergencies or outages on the core network or core services. Support will also be available to those customers with the appropriate support contract. Access to the data centres will always be available.

Network Change Freeze and Support during the Christmas/New Year holidays

Server Centre will operate a Network Change Freeze over the end of year holiday period.
This year the network freeze will begin at 5.30pm on Wednesday 22nd December 2010 and end at 9am on Wednesday 4th January 2011.

During this period, support requests involving network or system changes will not be handled with the exception of emergencies. This includes any provisioning requests, meaning no adds, moves or changes will be performed during the period.

Technical Support coverage will be maintained during this period and the normal process for contacting us will be valid (tickets system http://servercentre.net/support or phone 0845 413  3800)

During the holidays (25th, 26th December, 1st January), normal out-of-hours support will be in effect. We will be operating weekend hours (9am -5.30pm) with on-site staff in Nottingham on the UK bank holidays (26th, 27th December and 3rd January). Security will be on-site at all other times with Data Centre access being provided through the normal access procedure.
