SMTP port number

Is it possible to change the EMAIL server to accept SMTP on port 25, instead of 26?

When trying to pick up mail through googlemail, and respond back using using the same mail server, they (Google) only have 3 default port numbers allowed for SMTP server configuration, which do not include port 26 - only the SMTP standard 25....

why does HU/Servercentre use port 26?

Hi Catmur,

All servers are configured to use Port 25 & 26. Port 26 was only configured to allow access for clients with ISP's that block port 25.
