Anyone know why Front Page Extensions have been installed on my domains?

    I did not install them.

I can no longer password protect directories.

I cannot uninstall them as an error is returned (see attachment).

Support are simply suggesting I do the above. :shifty:

Anyone else having this problem please??
    Thanks

Anyone else who has this problem, if you have not already done so, backup your .htaccess file(s) now. Uninstalling FPE resets your .htaccess (if you manage to uninstall them that is!).
(after reading the warning message again I think ALL .htaccess files are reset.)

I'm currently eating humble pie as it appears a line in my .htaccess was causing the problem.

    :worship:

Ive yet to find out which one.

Not so sure it was totally my fault now!

Narrowed it down to the following line, but the line has been there for many months so I can only assume something has change in the cPanel F.P. set up.

    Code:
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^MSFrontPage [NC,OR]
